Travis Kelce Warns Future Girlfriend About 'Crazy' and 'Hectic' Chiefs Fanbase in Ironic, Pre-Taylor Swift Interview

Travis Kelce once issued a warning to his future girlfriend about the "crazy," "hectic" attention that would come with their relationship.

In a video interview from 2016—part of which recently resurfaced amid internet gossip suggesting that Kelce and his girlfriend, "The Alchemy" singer Taylor Swift , were in the middle of a breakup after a relationship contract allegedly leaked and Swift missed the last two Chiefs games ,—the tight end detailed the attention that anyone dating him would have to get comfortable with.

"Being around the Chiefs Kingdom in Kansas City, it gets crazy," he said. "And it's hectic, and a lot of attention is on me. And if she's on my side, it's gonna be on her, too."

Of course, Swift was more than familiar with the "crazy" attention that would fall on her when she first stepped foot in Arrowhead Stadium over a year ago, sparking a media frenzy that remains strong today.

Fans have eagerly waited to see if Swift would show up at each game since. But perhaps with even more gusto, they've kept an eye out for Kelce in Swift's Eras Tour stadiums, where he has been spotted trading friendship bracelets with fans not only at her shows but his own events .

Shortly after Kelce and Swift went public with their relationship, he was forced to move to a residence with more privacy .

"People were just staying by his house. I mean [for] safety reasons, [he had to move]," his big brother Jason Kelce explained. "But, even in his new, gated community, somebody found him quickly, as Jason shared that somebody knocked on the back window of his house on the very first day there."

Jason added, “Listen, we’ve always been big in the football world, Travis especially. The Taylor world and the pop culture world, that’s a whole different level—it’s just an added level, a new demographic that wasn’t there before.”

Luckily, Travis had some forewarning, even if it was for a much smaller scale than he imagined at the time.
