How Do You Use Ranch Packets to Make Mississippi Pot Roast?

In the video, Hadley places a large roast in a slow cooker. He then adds one packet of ranch seasoning, one packet of au jus, one jar of pepperoncini (with the juices), half a cup of water and one stick of butter. He then cooks it on high for two or three hours, until the roast is done. The result is a delicious-looking pot roast that we can't wait to make!

The dish was created in the 90s by Robin Chapman, who adjusted a family pot roast recipe in her Ripley, Mississippi kitchen. She eventually shared the recipe in a local church cookbook and it took off. The rest is internet history!
