The second and third images appeared candid, with Hargitay photographed as her gaze drifted, with the second photo showing her still smiling while looking off to one side and the third showing her smile gone as she looked straight at the camera, one hand in her pocket.

For her post’s caption, Hargitay relied entirely on hashtags associated with breast cancer awareness, including #EarlyDetectionSavesLives and #Stage4NeedsMore. Fans applauded the actress’ efforts to raise awareness about breast cancer and emphasize the importance of early detection, with one writing, “Thank you for supporting breast cancer awareness. ❤️❤️.” Several others took the opportunity to share their own or their family members’ experiences with breast cancer in the comment section.

In addition to the important health message behind Hargitay’s post, the photos also attracted several comments about her style, with many calling her “beautiful” and stunning.”
