Jason Duggar Marries Fiancée Maddie Grace in 'Perfect' Mountain Wedding Ceremony

Jason Duggar is officially a married man!

The Counting On alum and 12th child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar wed his fiancée Maddie Grace in what's been described as a "perfect" and "breathtaking" mountain wedding ceremony held earlier this week.

Jason and Maddie exchanged their vows in front of 300 relatives, friends and loved ones at The Estate at Sweetwater Creek, a wedding venue in Cocke County, Tenn. on Thursday, Oct. 3, PEOPLE reports .

The couple opted to marry in Maddie's home state because the “gorgeous” mountains and scenery were “just perfect” for their fall ceremony, according to statements shared with the outlet ahead of their nuptials.

"I'm from Tennessee, and so half my family lives in Tennessee and Kentucky, and then we're moving to Arkansas," Maddie shared, explaining the couple was excited by the thought of "just being able to see everybody in one place."

"It's just a big party where everybody gets together," she added.

As for how the couple tied the autumn theme into the rest of the ceremony and reception, Maddie's bridesmaids–including Johanna Duggar , Jennifer Duggar , Jordan Duggar and Josie Duggar –donned rust-orange floor-length dresses, while the groomsmen matched Jason's ensemble, wearing tan suits and orange ties.

Maddie headed down the aisle in a simple long-sleeve gown with a rhinestone belted accent, loose waves and a braid in her hair, and a face of peachy glam.

Their big day came just a few months after Jason and Maddie publicly revealed they were engaged this past August–a celebration had just weeks after Jason's sister, Jana Duggar, said "I do!" to her now-husband, Stephen Wissmann .

As for what the two have planned next, they told PEOPLE that they are looking forward to “traveling” and “settling down” for a bit.

"I think for both of us, we're pretty simple people really. It's like just doing life together," Jason shared. "Just being able to enjoy the next seasons of life and just be able to take those next steps."
