    'School of Rock' Child Stars Delight With New Photoshoot That Has Fans Suspecting They're Engaged

    Over 20 years after they co-starred in the classic comedy School of Rock , the former child actors featured in the film might be celebrating a major milestone.

    In 2016, Caitlin Hale , who played Marta, and Angelo Massagli , who played Frankie, started dating after reconnecting at a 2015 School of Rock reunion, according to E! News .

    Now, recent photos shared on Instagram by Hale show had fans wondering if they're engaged.

    In the black-and-white pics, Hale poses in a black strapless gown alongside Angelo, who wears a black suit with a white shirt, against different backdrops. In one of the shots, it looks like Hale is wearing a diamond ring on the ring finger of her left hand.

    "Sneak peek 😘," Hale captioned the post, which earned a like from fellow School of Rock star Jack Black .

    Hale's followers raved about the photos, with some understanding the post as an engagement announcement.

    "Congratulations to the actors who played my two favorite characters in School of Rock! 🤘🏽🎸," wrote one fan.

    "So rock n roll IS about scoring chicks!" joked another person.

    "The old Hollywood glam is just….to die!!!!!" gushed someone else.

    Hale, now an OBGYN sonographer, has shared numerous photos of the couple on Instagram, including a snap taken at her graduation in 2019.

    “3 years, 2 degrees, and 1 big apple. Making moves!” she captioned the pic.

    Like Hale, Massagli appears to have left the entertainment industry. While he played Bobby Baccalieri Jr. in The Sopranos following his turn in School of Rock , he later quit acting and graduated from the University of Miami Law School in 2019.
