Little Caesar's Is Testing a New Pizza Crust Option That Fans Say They 'Need'

Bacon has long been a topping option at Little Caesar’s , but now fans are getting pumped for the possibility of being able to add the cured meat to the crust of their pizza at the chain.

Food blogger Snackolator reports that the pizza chain is currently testing a new bacon crust pizza and fans can’t get enough of the concept.

According to Snackolator, the test pizza comes with a “caramelized cheese and bacon crust” and can be further customized with toppings. It’s not completely new to Little Caesar’s—it’s been sold in other countries before, but this is the first time it’s hitting the United States, beginning in Indianapolis, Ind.

“This definitely should've ben [sic] a nationwide release,” griped a commenter, while another said “They tried this in Mexico and i can confirm it is 🔥.” “Canada gets nothing 😮‍💨,” wrote someone else, an apparent nod to the fact that, as of now, the bacon crust pizza is only being tested in a portion of the United States.

“They always like to try new stuff and bring them back😭,” wrote one fan, with another chiming in to say “I love anything that has bacon on it.”

Others were more interested in other crust options, with one fan writing “i just hope they make pretzel crust a permanent item,” while another is all aboard the bacon train, but in a different iteration. “Gotta bring back the bacon wrapped deep dish,” they wrote. Others recalled that offering, stating that the difference between the two is “that wasn't a crust, rather the bacon was wrapped around the crust.” “The deep dish bacon wrapped crust pizza was legendary !,” said a third person.

According to the Little Caesar’s website, a large pizza with a caramelized cheese and bacon crust, topped with pepperoni, can be purchased for $8.99 .
