Members of The Flaming Lips and their fall tourmates from Weezer are issuing an urgent plea to fans after drummer Steven Drozd's teenage daughter Charlotte disappeared over the weekend.

Founder and lead vocalist Wayne Coyne took to Instagram on Monday, Oct. 7, with the terrible news, posting a missing person poster across his personal social media as well as each bands' page.

"URGENT!!!" the caption read. "Please help if you can !!!" It went on to explain that Steven's daughter, who is 16, was last seen near the Space Needle in Seattle on Saturday before promising to post updated information as soon as possible.

The graphic specified that Charlotte, who goes by the nickname Bowie, disappeared around 11:30 am while she was presumably on her way downtown. In a statement shared with People , Seattle PD confirmed that she was last seen on the monorail near the tower and is currently classified as a missing or runaway juvenile.

Charlotte, who has brown hair and eyes, is approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing khaki shorts and pink shoes. The missing person poster includes contact information for anyone who believes they have seen the teen.

Fans expressed their sympathies for Charlotte's family, writing prayers and, in the case of local followers, promising to keep an eye out for her.

Steven hasn't spoken out directly thus far, but did reply to Coyne's post, writing, "Thank you Wayne for posting. We don’t know what to do ❤️."
