Hilaria Baldwin Shares Health Update for 6-Year-Old Son Roman After He 'Banged His Head'

One of Hilaria and Alec Baldwin's children surely gave his parents quite a fright on Sunday, Oct. 6, when he "banged his head" hard enough to require stitches.

The mother of 7 —plus a stepdaughter, Ireland Baldwin —took to social media to update fans on the status of her 6-year-old son Roman's health after he managed to acquire a reasonably-sized cut on his forehead.

In a screenshot from her Instagram Stories republished by the Daily Mail , Hilaria shared a sweet selfie of herself with the young boy in the aftermath. Roman proudly showed off the butterfly bandage affixed just beneath his hairline with a big grin, while his mom's smile was much more subtle.

“Romeo banged his head,” she wrote candidly across the photo, adding that he got his “stitches like a champ.”

She also tagged the boy’s doctor, expressing her gratitude for “making this as painless of an experience as possible!”

Hilaria did not go into any details about how Roman managed to obtain his injury, but she did question, "Why do these things always happen on weekends?" joking that "The universe demons says [sic]: happy Sunday!'"

The family isn't shy about the "wildness" that comes with having so many children , though, so it's not terribly surprising to see something go wrong every once in a while.

While trying to snap their 2023 family holiday photo, the photographer captured the full chaos of the rambunctious brood, as they were nearly impossible to gather for a still moment.

"We love you @roushoots ❤️," Hilaria wrote alongside those photos, thanking the photographer for "being patient with our wildness."
