Just days after viewers expressed their concern for Ginger Zee as she reported from a stormy Florida beach during Hurricane Helene, the meteorologist's latest social media post has fans worrying once again ahead of Hurricane Milton's landfall .

On Wednesday, Oct. 9, the Good Morning America correspondent shared a video of herself taking a walk along Fort Myers Beach in the early morning hours under a cloudy sky.

"Eerie color in the sky ahead of Milton," Zee said.

"It's more than 230 miles southwest of us here at Fort Myers Beach, but these folks know it can take years to come back from a storm like this, they're still rebuilding after Ian, and they'll get 8 to 12 feet of surge here," she continued. "And by the way landfall is late tonight, looks like it'll be somewhere close to Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice Florida, I would prepare...Tampa is going to certainly have huge impact, Orlando, even Daytona Beach."

Zee's followers pleaded with her to be careful while in the storm's path.

"Fort Myers Beach holds such a special place in my heart. Hard to fathom the devastation that will happen (again). Please stay safe Ginger," begged one fan.

"Praying for the residents of FL! Thank you, Ginger, for keeping us up to date. Be safe out there đŸ™đŸ»," a second person wrote.

"Ginger, we're all worried about you and your crew staying there!!!!!You all need to leave also!!!!!! Please, please stay safe!!Florida and everyone is in our prayers!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏," agreed a third Instagram user.

Someone else was relieved that Fort Myers Beach seemed relatively empty, but anxious about Zee being there.

"Noooo, I didn't want to see you down here again for this one! 😅 By the sounds of our local news, FMB is a ghost town which is good to hear," they wrote.
