Taylor Swift Fans Think 'Only Murders in the Building' Included a Nod to Singer and Boyfriend Travis Kelce

Fans of singer Taylor Swift are convinced that she made a cameo of sorts in an episode of her friend Selena Gomez 's show Only Murders in the Building , noting that there seems to be a nod to Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce as well.

One fan of the show was watching the newest episode of the popular Hulu comedy series when they spotted the supposed reference, pointing it out to other fans through TikTok .

"Imagine my suprise when I saw a lifesized Taylor Swift Replica sitting next to Selena Gomez in the new episode of Only Murders in the Building! Down to a #87 jersey in honor of Travis Kelce!" read the fan's caption.

In the clip, Martin Short , Gomez and Melissa McCarthy acted in a scene that took place in a home filled with dolls. Gomez's character sat on a couch with one peculiarly familiar doll next to her, making an interesting face before telling McCarthy's character, "I like your dolls."

The doll in question had blond hair pulled back in a ponytail and she wore a sports jersey with "87" on the front, which happens to be Kelce's jersey number in football.

The fan who shared the video joked about the uncanny resemblance, saying, "Yup, down to the side profile, looks like Taylor."

"Selena's expression is priceless 🤣," wrote a fan of the show, with the original poster replying, "I too would be spooked by a life size porcelain replica of my bestie 😂😂😂😂😂."

More Swifties shared their reactions, with comments like, "HYSTERICAL, and so darn clever!" and "This. Is. Amazing. 😂."

"I can only imagine her and Taylor talking about this😂," wrote a different fan, referencing Swift and Gomez's close friendship.

Now that Swift has made a pseudo-appearance on Only Murders in the Building , all that's left is for her to make a real cameo on the show.
