Wendy's fans are literally begging the burger joint to release a newly added international Frosty flavor back here at home in the U.S.
Earlier this week, the U.K. version of the fan-favorite American chain revealed an all-new version of its classic soft-serve dessert would be available at participating locations for a limited time. Unlike the stateside markets, though, Wendy's across the pond has already moved past spooky season specials and is ready to serve up its interpretation of a festive winter favorite.

In an Oct. 8 post shared by the official Instagram account for Wendy's UK , the brand revealed its new Frozen Hot Chocolate Frosty finally arrived on menus. According to an official description, the limited-edition frozen treat mimics the "comforting taste of hot chocolate chilled into a cool, creamy delight" and features "Wendy’s signature Chocolate Frosty® now with a rich chocolate sauce swirl and topped with fluffy mini marshmallows."
Snackolator –a food blogger based here in the U.S.–brought the new dessert to the attention of their whopping 477,000 Instagram followers on Thursday, and it probably goes without saying, but many became outraged with jealousy.
"They always get the good stuff, man 😂," one joked of the many highly-anticipated menu items to go international but never be released domestically.
"Never anything good in the US smh 🤦🏻♀️," another top-liked comment lamented.
"Let us pray they bring this here! 🙏," a third declared.
"Tease," a different fan shared with disappointment. "I would love this here."
"Other countries get the good flavors, and the US gets orange cream 😩," someone else quipped–which isn't totally true because Wendy's did only release a Pineapple Frosty as part of a special Spongebob meal , but we can see how some customers may feel that way.
And for those all torn up over it, one fan suggested the U.S. "basically already has this," only at Dunkin –not Wendy's–but it's just a frozen hot chocolate with a fudgy swirl and whipped cream, clearly lacking the important addition of mini marshmallows.
Still, there's a whole lot of time between now and winter, so maybe, if fans are lucky, Wendy's will gift its fans at home the same treat it just released overseas.
