Hopeful Swifties—along with Harry Styles fans—were quick to speculate that Mendes and Jonas are waiting to put their music out because either Swift or Styles are dropping albums of their own.

"This is literally either harry or taylor im not doing good," read the post's caption.

Commenters immediately ran with the rumor, sharing their own theories.
