Jason Duggar Shares Sweet Photos of New Wife Maddie Grace on Special Day: ‘Love You Always and Forever’

Jason Duggar and his new wife, Maddie Grace , recently celebrated their first birthday event together as a married couple.

The newlyweds, who tied the knot on Oct. 3 , rang in Maddie’s 21st birthday earlier this week. Jason, 24, shared photos from their celebration on Instagram on Thursday, Oct. 9.

“Happy Birthday to my gorgeous wife, I love you always and forever ❤️,” the 12th-born child of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar wrote to caption his post.

In the first photo included in the four-part Instagram carousel, the birthday girl gazed down at a plate full of birthday treats. A sparkler was planted in the center of one, with dollops of whipped cream plopped onto either side of the plate. Maddie smiled down at the treat in the first photo and posed for a smiling snapshot in the second as part of the restaurant atmosphere was visible behind her.

The final two photos included in the Counting On alum’s post showed the happy couple smiling and posing together in different settings. In one image, Jason wore a black button-down T-shirt and light-wash denim jeans while Maddie wore a pink flowered dress. The final snapshot showed them embracing while wearing cream-colored sweatshirts and flashing big smiles for their selfie.

The TLC star’s social media followers quickly flooded the post’s comment section with well wishes for his new wife on her special day.

“Aw y’all are adorable! Happy birthday, Maddie!” one fan wrote as another echoed, “Y’all are the cutest!! Happy Birthday Girl!! 🤍🥳.”

Jason and Maddie announced their engagement by sharing photos and videos from the life-changing moment on Instagram on Aug. 30. They shared their relationship update about two weeks after Jason’s older sister Jana tied the knot with her new husband, Stephen Wissmann .

Five weeks after announcing their plans to marry, Jason and Maddie said their “I dos” in front of an estimated 300 guests during a ceremony held at The Estate at Sweetwater Creek in Newport, Tenn., according to People .
