A pair of slip-on sneakers is useful when you need easy shoes to throw on when you're leaving the house. Whether it’s to walk your dog or you just like a quick getaway, classic slip-ons are very handy. And while Vans -style canvas sneakers are a go-to for many, the price isn’t always accessible. So Target’s highly-rated slip-on sneakers are not only a good find, but also a fraction of the price of top competitors’ styles.

Target is selling Women's Millie Twin-Gore Slip-On Sneakers from their in-house brand, A New Day, for only $14.99. They come in two colors—white and black—and sizes 5 through 12. And they are the classic low-top slip-on sneaker designs everyone knows and loves. There are no laces but a smooth upper part with twin-gore elastic (the panels of elastic near the opening of the shoe) on each side to provide an easy slip-on experience.

They have the same canvas and textile upper portion as their competitors, made with 65% cotton and 35% polyester. The insole is 100% polyester and the outsole, bottom of the shoe, is made with 58% polyester and 42% rubber. Both colors have a white outsole with a black line at the top. And with over 2,000 reviews and ratings, and almost 5 stars, these shoes are definitely well-liked by shoppers.

"Great find," one shopper wrote in their review. “I tried on at least a half dozen from different brands ranging in price from $23 to $150. These for less than $20 including tax fit best and were comfortable. Great find!!"

Another reviewer wrote that they’re “super comfy” and “so affordable.” Yet another called them “amazing” and said they were “perfect for Disney.”

“I was skeptical at first because of the price and was worried if they’d last me all day at Disney,” they wrote after saying these were a last-minute buy after their dog ate their original Vans. “Well they did!”

They then went on to write that with some thick no-show socks (to stop blisters), these became their new go-to shoe.

“Wore them again today for California adventure and they are the best!!” the shopper finished. “I’m considering buying 4 more just to have on hand. I don’t mind these getting dirty as much because their less than half the cost of vans and still just as comfortable if not more. I’m seriously obsessed with these!"

    Skate Slip-On Shoe , $60 at Vans

    Vans

Speaking of Vans, these Target shoes are very easily lookalikes to the popular skater brand’s Skate Slip-On Shoe . They retail for $60 and come in a ton of different colors and patterns. But the classic True White shoe has a similar low-top slip-on design along with twin-gore elastics on each side of the shoes. They also have a reinforced heel and similar seams.

The main differences include the Vans logo on the heel of the outsole and the tab on the outside of the shoe. They also don’t have a stripe at the top of the outsole and are made with a mix of 6 oz and 10 oz canvas on their upper portion.

    Women's Lounger Lift , $105 at Allbirds

    Allbirds

Another similar style comes from Allbirds with their Women's Lounger Lift shoe, which costs $105. The big difference with these is the fact that they have a thicker platform outsole to give the wearer some added height. But other than that, the main portion of the shoe has a similar slip-on design (twin-gore elastic panels, low-top design, a reinforced heel, etc.). They’re made with 100% organic cotton canvas for the upper part and they have a SweetFoam midsole made with sugarcane-based green EVA.

So, if you like the look of a classic canvas slip-on shoe, and don’t want to shell out more than $20, Target’s Women's Millie Twin Gore Slip-On Sneakers are worth checking out.
