Fans Express Concern for Pop Star After ‘Unbelievable and Dangerous’ Stage Accident

Olivia Rodrigo fans were shocked and horrified after the "Drivers License" singer had a scary-looking onstage accident.

The 21-year-old pop star was performing in Melbourne, Australia, on her Guts tour when the unfortunate incident occurred, as footage recorded by an audience member revealed.

In a video shared on X , Rodrigo was running across the stage when she suddenly disappeared into a large hole through the floor. Luckily, she managed to grab the edge of the opening and pull herself up and out—and she wasted no time resuming her performance.

"Oh my god, that was fun. I'm OK!" she told the audience, who reacted to her fall with screams and gasps. "Sometimes there's just a hole in the stage...that's all right! OK, where was I?"

Commenters were quick to express their concern for the singer, with some wondering why there was a hole in the stage in the first place.

This isn't the first mid-performance mishap Rodrigo has had to deal with during the Guts tour. During a London concert in May, she suffered a major wardrobe malfunction when all the clasps on her top popped open at the same time while singing "Love Is Embarrassing." Thankfully, one of her dancers came to the rescue just in time.
