KFC is dropping a brand-new dessert option—but the name of the menu item is raising eyebrows.

On Sunday, Oct. 13, food blogger Markie Devo took to Instagram to unveil the new addition, revealing the fried chicken chain's Cherry Pie Poppers .

“She’s my cherry pie, something..something, such a sweet surprise.' @kfc has new Cherry Pie Poppers!" the post's caption read. "This dessert is filled with warm cherry pie filling and wrapped in a buttery, flaky crust."

The Cherry Pie Poppers look like small cherry pies presented in mini, perfectly bite-sized treats.

As for availability, the social media update shared that they're "available now in 4 or 10 counts at KFC."

Fans in the comments were intrigued by the menu item, but also perplexed at the suggestive nature of the product's name.

"No one on the marketing team thought about this name?" one wondered about the menu option that could potentially be linked to an intimate innuendo, while another simply called the choice "sus," a slang term that means "suspect."

"That’s funny," a third admitted, as someone else asked, "They're called what now 👀?"

Meanwhile, others expressed excitement about trying the sweet treat.

"Omg! Gonna have to try these," a follower reacted, with more writing, "Yum!!" "The apple was delicious," "Uh oh 🔥🔥🔥" and "Finally," in part.

On the other hand, one wasn't nearly as impressed after assumably trying the Cherry Pie Poppers for themselves. "They’re horrible. Hardly any filling and they went in the garbage. Kind of inedible actually," one comment read.
