DiGiorno Fans Joke They're 'Done' After Return of Holiday-Inspired Pizza Flavor

DiGiorno is bringing back a limited-edition version of a festive, holiday-inspired pizza complete with all the traditional Thanksgiving fixings—but not everyone seems so pleased.

The frozen pizza brand initially introduced a similar variety last year, simply known as the Thanksgiving Pizza, which featured classic turkey, creamy gravy sauce, diced sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberries, crispy onions, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses layered on top of a thick Detroit-style crust.

This year's version appears to be very similar—if not the same—per an official description shared with Food & Wine earlier this week. The only difference is it's no longer an online exclusive like it was in 2023. The outlet also reported that the re-release will be available starting this month only at Kroger-owned stores, with a suggested retail price of $9.99 (though prices may vary by location).

Food blogger Snackolator was also among the first to debut the limited-edition pie flavor, asking their over 480,000 Instagram followers if they'd be interested in trying it. And let's just say the reactions were plentiful.

"CALL THE POLICE IM DONE," one top-liked comment joked. "ARREST EVERY PERSON INVOLVED IN THIS."

"Tbh I’m not mad at this but I’d rather use my own leftovers to make a sandwich," a second confessed.

"I’d rather eat a Jean jacket!" a different Instagram user quipped. "Jail whoever thought of this! 😡." Similarly, someone else said they would "rather eat my own foot" than this pizza—harsh!

"It's missing my favorite thanksgiving dish," another lamented, suggesting the brand rework the recipe to include stuffing.

"I wanna see who’s gonna buy this 😂," a different person teased.

Still, a handful of people tried to defend what appears to be the only pizza toppings more divisive than pineapple.

"We had it last year and it’s way better than one might expect," one attested.

"Why are people against it? Seems fire to me," a second admitted. "Then again, I like the Wawa Turkey Gobbler hoagie."

"Had it last year. Twas good," another confessed. "This isn’t new. Just new to stores."
