Harry Styles' Mother and Niall Horan's Brother Pen Heartbreaking Tributes to One Direction Bandmate Liam Payne

While Liam Payne's main four One Direction bandmates have yet to issue statements in the wake of his untimely death, some of their parents have spoken out with emotional tributes for the young man, who was just 31 when he jumped to his death in Argentina.

Harry Styles ' mother, Anne Twist , left a simple message on Instagram in the late evening hours of Oct. 16, after the news broke. She posted a broken heart emoji and just three, heartbreaking words: "Just a boy … 💔."

Niall Horan's brother, Greg , spoke out on Oct. 17, on the platform, too, sharing a black-and-white image of Payne alongside the statement, "To say I’m heartbroken is an understatement a weird feeling this morning and all night you were a top young boy to a man a son a brother you are only one of 4 lads I was happy enough to take my place in nialls life as a brother you will be forever missed Liam words can’t describe how much I want to grab my brother and mind him now while the world shows their memories of you and him and the boys .my heart goes out to your family parents and sisters and your son Bear and your 1D brothers 10th October we met and we started out that evening as 5 families into one big one 1D family thank you for all the laughs bro watch down on the all your family and mind them lots of love kiddo x x x 1D 4 LIFE x x x ❤️❤️❤️❤️."

While neither of their sons nor their bandmates have broken their silence yet, One Direction's drummer Josh Devine mourned the loss , admitting, “Some of my fav memories in life were because of this man. No words. 💔.”
