Oreo Entices Fans With 'Festive' Limited-Edition Cookies for the Holidays

Oreo fans are feeling festive already after setting their sights on the brand's new holiday limited-edition flavor : Festive Colored Creme Cookies.

Food influencer Markie Devo shared the exciting news on Instagram on Wednesday, Oct. 16, writing alongside a photo of the new treat, "NEW limited edition Oreo Festive Colored Creme Cookies, with 5 festive cookie designs and 2 layers of creme."

"Loving how these cookies have a little boop button😜👉🏻🔴," he continued, commenting on the unique design. "Each pack comes with 14 individually wrapped, single-cookie snack packs. 🛒Spotted at Target so far, not sure if it’s exclusive yet."

The new cookies have two layers of creme—one red and one green—and there are five different designs on the cookies including candy canes, a penguin, a snowman, a reindeer and a gingerbread man. The main feature fans love is the hole in the cookie that lets some red cream come out as a pop of color.

"omg the little buttons!🥹," wrote one fan, as more reacted to the reveal, saying, "Super cute ♥︎," "The filling gods have spoken" and "Absolutely NEEEEED these. Ughhhhh😍."

Another declared, "Oh that’s the best holiday design ever."

"These look so good. The holiday oreos taste the best lol," read a different enthusiastic comment.

A few fans couldn't help but be disappointed that Oreo hasn't announced the return of a different holiday flavor, Peppermint Creme Cookies. "If only they were peppermint. RIP," said one such fan, as another wrote, "Ooooh? Where the peppermint Oreos go tho 😮‍💨."

As of writing, it's unclear if the new Festive Colored Creme flavor is a Target exclusive or if fans can find it in other stores.
