Target Is Selling $15 Faux Fur Slide Sandals So Similar to an Iconic Hermès Style Over 68x the Price

Chic slippers are a lot more fun than just regular bunny slippers. You get the comfort of some fluffy fur or shearling and a stylish slipper that makes you feel like a million bucks. However, you don’t exactly have to spend a fortune to achieve such a luxurious horseshoe; one of Target’s newest slippers is affordable and oh-so-cute. Plus, it looks a lot like an iconic Hermès style over 68 times the price.

Target’s new Women's Sage Slide Slippers by their in-house brand, A New Day, is only $15 and comes in two colors. Even though they’re so new and don’t even have any reviews yet, they’re already nearly sold out in the color tan and are starting to sell out in the cream color. They have a very familiar cross-shaped strap and have very fluffy faux fur all over the shoe.

The sandals are open-toe and have a square-toe front. They are a slip-on design and have a cushioned insole for comfort. The plush faux fur is made with 20% recycled polyester and 80% polyester, and the bottom outsole is made with 58% polyester and 42% thermoplastic rubber (TPR). The bottom outsole is tan in both colors with thin ridges on the bottom for traction, making these a good indoor and outdoor shoe.

As we mentioned above, these slide slippers from Target are very similar to the Izmir Sandal by Hermès, which is currently $1,025 (or $850 if you want it used from TheRealReal ). Target’s Sage Slide Slippers’s cross-shaped strap replicates the iconic Hermès cross design on their sandals and some bags. The Izmir Sandal is no different. While they come in leather options and several different colors, the ones that are most like the Target slides are the Écru Noir colors since they are made with shearling material all over. They do have leather on the edge and a leather sole too, adding to the overall cost, of course.
