Kelly Clarkson and Jelly Roll just gave fans the duet they never knew they needed.
Earlier this week, the Grammy winner invited the "Wild Ones" crooner to join her for a special edition of the fan-favorite "Kellyoke" segment of her NBC talk show. During the Wednesday, Oct. 16 episode, the two performed an emotional rendition of Jelly Roll's already moving song, "I Am Not Okay," from his newest album, Beautifully Broken (Pickin’ Up The Pieces) .
The show's official Instagram page uploaded a brief clip of the two very talented artists belting out the lyrics and occasionally exchanging glances as they sang their hearts out, captioning it: "Jellyoke!"
Viewers were nothing less than impressed as they begged the artists to "Please PLEASE release this as a full duet ."
"His face after she belted 'life' 💙💙💙💙💙," another gushed before someone else similarly shared, "Jelly was all of us when she Kelly Clarksoned on ‘liiiiiifeeeeee.’"
"The first time I heard this song I cried because it spoke to me in my darker moments and gave me hope," another fan confessed. "Jelly and Kelly your voices together are absolute perfect!"
"d--n, their voices together are pure magic✨🥹," a fifth declared.
"This had me bawling!!!…fantastic duet!!!" a different Instagram user exclaimed. "Jelly is the kindest soul!!!!…👏👏👏👏💜💜💜💜💜💜."
"She can sing and make music magic with anyone," another added—a skill that's been praised several times over as the American Idol alum has tiptoed into several genres with a variety of covers and duets with special guests during countless episodes of her Daytime Emmy-winning talk show .
