Fans Say Snoop Dogg and Wife Are 'Relationship Goals' After Rapper's Romantic Proclamation

Fans are officially declaring Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus “relationship goals” after hearing the way the rapper gushed about his wife during a recent appearance on Today with Hoda & Jenna .

The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper and Broadus met in school in the 1980s and were high school sweethearts. They married back in 1997 and have three children together .

Twenty-seven years after saying “I do,” Snoop Dogg described the Boss Lady Entertainment founder as his “best friend” while speaking with Today co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager .

“My wife has been my best friend for a couple of reasons,” the 52-year-old rapper said. “One is that she always understood who I was and who I needed to become.”

As the “Gin and Juice” rapper began diving into his “second reason,” he described Broadus as “just being my backbone, my foundation, my support, my reality, my other half of parenting.”

She “showed me how to be a better father and to be a better husband and a better grandfather,” he added.

Snoop Dogg went on to explain that his relationship with his wife strengthened during some of the more difficult moments in life, such as when his mother died. “She stepped up as my wife and handled that,” he said. “And it’s been many times where I’ve been at my lowest, and she’s always been the strongest to get me back up.”

Fans melted over Snoop Dogg’s description of his marriage when Today with Hoda & Jenna shared a quote from his conversation with Kotb and Bush Hager on Instagram .

“They have a real relationship. They have shared the good & the bad. They are REAL,” one fan declared as another described the marriage as “a beautiful loving relationship to cherish thru the years.”

“Serious relationship goals!” one Instagram user exclaimed as others dubbed Snoop Dogg and Broadus a “Power Couple.”

“That’s a power couple right there. ❤️,” one Instagram user echoed as another said the relationship “is a true love story.”

“Love that @snoopdogg said this about his wife ❤️❤️❤️,” one fan gushed about the “Class act! 👏🏼♥️” rapper.

“Wow. I have a strong respect for this man!” another fan said.
