Little Debbie’s ‘Classic’ Treat Finally Returns After Nearly a Decade of Being MIA

Little Debbie has been a staple sweet for decades, with several variations—like its Oatmeal Creme Pies and Swiss Rolls —even earning ice cream spinoffs as other individually wrapped snacks suddenly disappeared. Fortunately, at least one fan-favorite treat is making a grand return.

Weeks after debuting its limited-edition fall 2024 full product lineup , Little Debbie's Marshmallow Treat is reportedly back after nearly a decade of being MIA.

The crunchy rice cereal and ooey-gooey marshmallow fluff-based treat is back for the first time in eight years, but only for individual sale, according to information shared with food blogger Markie_devo .

On Thursday, the influencer revealed via Instagram that the fan-favorite snack will be available in individual packs at nationwide grocery and convenience stores carrying other single-serve Little Debbie snacks.

"A NY bodega hates to see me coming!!🤩," Markie_deo joked in the caption of the Oct. 17 Instagram upload. He later confirmed that several stores already stocked up on the returning goodie in reply to an eagle-eyed fan who spotted them at their local gas station a few weeks ago.

"I was waiting till a few stores actually had them to post," Devo replied. "Ordering was back in Sept.✊🏻."

"Is this a dream????" one overwhelmed fan asked. "Omg yess."

"IM SO HAPPY," a second declared.

"Finally!!" a third exclaimed, suggesting the brand "bring the salted caramel bars back!"

"Yo!!! This Bronx Mom needs to put her kids on to these lol what a classic 😍," someone else declared.

This latest nostalgia-induced offering follows another recent release inspired by the cult-favorite Cosmic Brownie: Cosmic Mini Muffins .

Little Debbie must be feeling the giving spirit early this year, as the brand already confirmed several festive holiday-ready snack items would be headed to stores in the coming weeks. They included the return of seasonal favorites— Pumpkin Spice Mini Donuts , Gingerbread Soft Cookies, Snowflake Brownies, among others—and the addition of two new festive baked good flavors: Buttery Vanilla Christmas Mini Muffins and the Christmas Tree Cakes Mini Donuts .
