Aldi Is Selling a Comfy $13 Zipped Hoodie Similar to an Athleta Style Almost 7x the Price

It’s that time of the year when it doesn’t seem like you can buy enough hoodies and pullovers. Keep ‘em coming! Aldi seems to know this because they’re upcoming Aldi Finds includes a listing for men’s and women’s pullovers and zippered hoodies. Plus one of them looks a lot like an Athleta style that’s almost seven times the price.

From Oct. 23 to Oct. 29, Aldi is selling their Crane Men's and Ladies' Pullovers for only $12.99 in the Aldi Finds aisles of U.S. stores while quantities last. Even though it says it’s a pullover in the listing, there are a few different styles for men and women, with only the men’s sweater being a pullover. It comes in “blue” which is kind of a seafoam green and is made with 63% cotton, 32% polyester and 5% elastane. The women’s grey sweater is a half-zip hooded pullover and the women’s white is a full-zip hoodie. Both of these have fabric that’s made of 60% cotton and 40% recycled polyester.

Both of the women’s “pullovers” have stylized seams near the front shoulders and they both have a front pocket (the white sweater has two pockets because of the zipper down the middle). Unlike past Aldi products that come in different colors or styles, all of these styles come in sizes M to XL.

Forever Fleece Ultra Crop Full Zip , $89 at Athleta

The style we’re focused the most on, though, is the white Crane Pullover because of how much it looks like Athleta’s Forever Fleece Ultra Crop Full Zip . This sweater is currently $89 and comes in a handful of different colors. Both Aldi’s and Athleta’s hoodies have a similar design (a basic zipped hoodie) with cuffs at the wrists and a hem. The main differences are the fact that Athleta’s doesn’t have the stylized seams and it has hoodie strings to adjust the opening. And they’re slightly different materials: Athleta’s Forever Fleece cropped zipped hoodie is made with 75% cotton, 19% polyester and 6% spandex.

While you may not get an Athleta-quality hoodie from Aldi, their Crane Men's and Ladies' Pullover is a good alternative if you want another cozy layering piece, but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg.
