What Is Crockpot Creamy Beef and Noodles?

We recently came across @cookinwithkayla and her Crockpot Creamy Beef and Noodles , which reminded us how clutch a can of cream of mushroom soup can be, and not just when it comes to the iconic green bean casserole .

To make the simple supper, Kayla combines cubed stew meat, Lipton onion mix , egg noodles and a can of French onion soup and cream of mushroom soup to make a n easy version of beef stroganoff. To make things even easier, she makes everything in a slow cooker . “Easy prep and a delicious end,” Kayla writes in the caption of her video, “yes please!”

How to Make Crockpot Creamy Beef and Noodles

Kayla’s crockpot creation is a classic stick-to-your-ribs recipe. You start by tossing the cubed stew meat into the slow cooker, followed by 2 packets of Lipton onion mix. She then empties 1 can of French onion soup and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup into the pot and gives the mixture a good stir.

Put the lid on the slow cooker, set it to high and cook until the beef is cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F. On the side, Kayla boils some egg noodles, which get mixed into the crockpot once the beef is cooked. She then adds some heavy cream and gives the mixture a good stir before serving.

Once you divide the dishes into bowls, you can top each serving with a dollop of sour cream and some chopped fresh parsley to give this simple supper a little upgrade. Serve with some dry red wine if you're feeling fancy.
