Adele is on the mend, opening up about a recent infection she had that came with pain she described as one of "the most painful" experiences of her life.

Speaking at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace over the weekend as part of her Weekends With Adele residency in Las Vegas, she reportedly told the crowd, "I have an ear infection, which is pretty grim. I’ve never had one before. It’s the most painful thing that’s ever, ever happened to me," as several outlets including The Sun reported.

"It was worse than childbirth. It’s a rare water bacteria. It’s very hard to treat," she added during Friday's concert, explaining that recovering from it also has not been without its discomfort. "I was on the wrong antibiotics for a few days and they managed to give me one that started to work. I wanted to chop my ear off a few times."

Thankfully, it appears the 16-time Grammy winner is officially on the road to recovery, though she's not completely back to her baseline self just yet. "I'm no longer in pain, which is great," she shared, noting that she's still "a bit deaf in my left ear."

Hopefully, the lingering symptoms clear up shortly for Adele, 36, who only recently announced that this series of Sin City shows —which she kicked off in November 2022—would be her last round of scheduled performances for quite some time.

In August, the "Easy on Me" songstress announced she would be going on an indefinite hiatus following her final concert on Saturday, Nov. 23.

"I have 10 shows to do, but after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time," the mom of one told the crowd during her series of concerts in Munich, Germany . "And I will hold you dear in my heart."
