Tiny Sphynx Kitten Resembles Baby Yoda and Everyone's Obsessed

When most of us think about pets, we think about the kind of animals we can cuddle. Fluffy puppies and kittens immediately come to mind — you know what I'm talking about. But those aren't the only types of animals who can make great companions. Our family includes a tortoise, and even though he can't cuddle up next to me on the couch after a long day, it sure is cool to watch him doing tortoise-y things all day. And let's not forget one very important fact: Not all kittens are fluffy, but that doesn't make them any less cute!

Take, for example, the Sphynx breed. These hairless wonders have people captivated, and for good reason! Once you meet a tiny Sphynx kitten who looks like baby Yoda, you'll be obsessed too.

Omg. This Sphynx kitten really does look just like baby Yoda! That little face does remind me of Grogu from The Mandalorian... and that is an absolute compliment, for the record.

Even cuter than his alien-like face, though, are the teeny, tiny meows he's making. And are those some of his first purrs, too? This little one is getting the hang of being a cat already.

If this is the kind of content you need more of (same), there are tons of videos on the original poster's page, since they breed Sphynx kittens. Just be warned before you fall in love: they definitely aren't cheap. Though fees will vary, cattery starts at about $2,500 for adopting a pet class cat, but if you're hoping for show quality or better, that'll be a cool $6,000... at a minimum.

Maybe I'll just watch the videos for now!

    More About Sphynx Cats

Even if you're a certified cat lady like I am, adopting and caring for a Sphynx cat isn't exactly like caring for a more common kitty (you know, the kind with fur).

According to The Spruce Pets , even though they have no hair, Sphynx cats do need plenty of grooming . They need to be bathed every week to remove oil from their skin and keep them clean, and pay special attention to their ears, since they don't have any fur to keep dirt (among other things) from collecting in there!

Personality-wise, though, it should be easy to fall in love with them. They're friendly, very active and playful, and will keep you laughing — then again, maybe that part is true of all cats.

And having your own Baby Yoda in the house? Nothing could really compare...
