Dad's Attempt To Take Huskies Paddle Boarding Turns Into Canine Chaos

Taking your Huskies anywhere, to do anything, is a massive undertaking. Half the time, they're going to be yelling at everyone they see and every siren they hear. The other half of the time, they're just trying to say hello to everyone!

Something almost nobody has ever done, though, is attempt to take their Huskies paddle boarding. At least until recently, when one couple did just that. It went just about as well as could be expected, honestly:

Blue the Siberian, Emma, and Corey are the funniest family. There's never a dull moment with them, and I know they wouldn't have it any other way!

Blue is a total internet star! On Instagram alone, he has 500,000 followers, and he has another 1.5 million followers over on TikTok. Everyone loves his antics and the fact that, in addition to his own huge personality, they have another Husky named Titan and a Golden Retriever named Maverick! It's a lot to handle, but we love to watch them try.

These pups enjoy being outdoors, and they all enjoy the water, too! Recently, Titan had his birthday party on a yacht! That was unrelated to the paddle boarding incident, though. Paddle boarding was just a fun activity, but the pups never seemed to get a great handle on it, hence the fact that it just descended into madness. Don't worry, though; everyone was fine!

Fun Water Activities to do With Dogs

Even though it didn't quite go according to plan, the boys all had a great time playing on the paddle boards and dragging dad into the water. Huskies and Golden Retrievers tend to enjoy water, while a lot of smaller breeds would rather stay away.

If you have a dog who loves water, you can try:

    1. Taking them out on a speedboat, canoe, or even a paddle board.
    2. Playing fetch with them in the water.
    3. Allowing them to jump off of a dock or floatation device.
    4. Just letting them swim - if you don't have any bells or whistles, this is often enough!

Whatever your dog is in the water, though, you should be supervising, and they should ideally be wearing lifejackets if you're taking them on a boat or a board. Steer clear of rough water as much as you can, and always have something close by that your pup can get out of the water quickly. Keeping things safe is keeping things fun for all. Except Blue's dad, who will probably have water in his ears for the next month!
