Working a 9-5 job isn't for everyone. Between the endless meetings, office schedules, and politics, most days can feel pretty long. Just ask Dash the Corgi, who's just trying to get through his "work" day without losing his little puppy mind.

The funny Instagram video shared by @dash_and_furious details Dash's day at the office and it's too relatable. Watch him attempt to conquer the daily grind!

In the clip titled "A Day in the Life of an Office Dog," Dash starts the morning by getting lots of pets before attending a meeting that "could've been an email." This wore him out, so as "Chief Snooze Officer," it's nap time shortly after, especially since he was promised snacks that never showed. Surely, he'll take it up with HR because that's a travesty.

Now refreshed, Dash checks in on all his co-workers to be sure they're doing what they're supposed to, though he's wishing for the day to end so he can go home. To pass the last bit of time, he tosses a bottle in the trash can then he and Dad head out for a much-deserved "Yappy Hour."

"Tough day at work," the video adds, and many of the pup's fans fully agree—working a 9-5 isn't for the faint of heart!

"How is anyone doing work with him around?" one person asked. "Dash is the best office dog," another wrote. "HR better hear about the no snacks at the meeting," another joked.

It might've been a long day, but at least the tired Corgi didn't spend hours barking about budget cuts and time sheets.

The Benefits of a Pet-Friendly Workplace

Not only are dogs happy-making beings in general, but studies show having them in the office environment has a plethora of physical and emotional benefits. Four Paws International notes that in-office pets can "reduce stress , increase cognitive abilities and social interaction, and counteract depression and anxiety in people."

The reason is that when you're stressed at work, it's harder to focus and stay motivated. This leads to "a tense work environment, reduces the work performance of employees, and leads to burnout and increased absenteeism/sick leave," the org adds.

If well-being and productivity increase, the company benefits, so it's a win-win. It seems obvious, but dogs in offices make people happy, and happy people are productive people.

Dash does a great job of keeping morale high so everyone can do their very best work. Now that the day is over, he'd better rest up so when he wakes, he can do it all over again!
