Cats are always observing us, taking in every bit of who we are and what we do in life. They take note of our everyday routines and sometimes decide they want to take part, too. When one fancy feline noticed Mom putting on makeup, she wanted to be a part of it so she could look her best like her mama.

In a recent TikTok post shared by @mmmlissa_68 , the sweet cat wants a makeup lesson, and it's the cutest thing. Watch her get glammed up below!

"She kept meowing at me when I was putting makeup on," the caption begins. "This is the only way I got her to stop."

In the 16-second clip, the sweet kitty looks up with wonder, studying Mom's every move. Though we don't see her meow, we do get a glimpse of the queen once Mom starts putting rouge on her cheeks with a makeup brush. She appears content, finally getting the makeover she's been dreaming of. She really didn't need anything to make her more beautiful than she already is.

"She wanted to get pretty like mommy," one person wrote. "She was a fancy lady in another life," another said. "She looks better than me when I put makeup on. She’s beautiful," another added.

She was beautiful before, inside and out, and even more so now—or should we say more so "meow"!

Some Beauty Products Aren't Safe for Cats

Though the TikTok above only showed Mom using a touch of blush on the cat's whisker area, PetMD says there are some beauty products that can harm kitties . Some items to keep out of reach include:

    • Soaps that contain non-ionic and anionic detergents
    • Sunscreen with zinc oxide
    • Shampoos that have non-ionic and anionic detergents
    • Muscle creams due to salicylates
    • Toothpaste with sodium fluoride
    • Nail glue made with polyurethane
    • Steroid cream
    • Hair mousse containing acetic acid, aluminum sulfate, hydrochloric acid, and sulfuric acid
    • Tea tree oil, which is antiseptic
    • Hair growth products containing Minoxidil
    • Mouthwash made with xylitol
    • Nail polish made with toluene and formaldehyde
    • Acetone Nail polish remover
    • Aluminum deodorants
    • Hand sanitizers containing isopropyl alcohol

It's also important to keep makeup sponges out of your cat's reach, as they might mistake them for toys. If ingested, they can cause gastrointestinal obstruction and could require surgery to fix. Whether you have your cat trained or not, makeup brushes can also be a problem, so it's better to keep sponges and all makeup tools put away when not in use just to be safe.
