Dogs make friends wherever they go. It doesn't matter if it's with a human or animal, they love everyone who gives them positive attention. Tucker the Dalmatian feels this because he has a special friend he wants Mom to see every single day.

An August 3 TikTok video shared by Tucker + Shannon ( @tuckerandshannon ) shows the happy pup showing Mom his best friend on their daily walks, and it's too precious. Get ready to fall in love with these two.

"The beginning of their story," the caption says, with the video's words adding, "Every morning, my dog drags me to say hi to his stray cat friend."

The short clip shows a few different scenes of Tucker doing just that—dragging Mom over to his cat friend to say hello, and it's so sweet. Mom says the stray is loved by the community, so everyone pitches in to care for her. She has lots of friends, but none are more loved than Tucker.

Though many people weighed in on all the reasons why Tucker's mom should take the cat in, others offered support for this beautiful friendship.

"That's not a cat . . . that's a sister," one person wrote. "The way the kitty lifted its tail up the closer the puppy got," another noted. "The cat distribution system is working for the doggo!!!" another added.

However they met, and wherever their friendship takes them, it's simply perfect.

Dalmatians Are Usually Good With Cats

Not all dogs will love all animals, but according to Dogster, Dalmatians are typically good with cats . This is largely because they weren't originally bred for hunting or herding, so genetically, they have no reason to want to harm them.

Dalmatians are known to be playful , intelligent, and loyal, and they have a lot of energy (which makes them not the best choice for a home with small children), but of course, it always depends on how they're socialized and trained—especially when it comes to introducing them to a cat.

Some pups will automatically fall head over heels for a feline while others never do. Know your dog's personality before ever approaching a stray cat and be sure they know basic commands like "sit" or "stay." Safe introductions are best to avoid any conflict. Be patient, and definitely don't force a friendship.

If you have a dog like Tucker—who already made friends with a cat— consider yourself lucky to have such a warm-hearted, compassionate pup!
