A very sweet and gentle Golden Retriever has the best way to help her people start their day, and it's the cutest thing we've seen in a long time.

On August 4, 2024, TikTok user Sunday the Golden Retriever (@sundaythegoldenretriever) shared a sweet compilation video of Sunday saying good morning each day of the week. Take a look!

In a sweet video, we meet Sunday, a beautiful Golden Retriever who loves to greet her human with happiness each morning.

"Here is your pick me up and dose of sunshine to start your week," the video's caption reads. "Except for Monday that fell a bit flat."

And in the video, we get to see Sunday each day of the week answering her mom's hello.

"I recorded myself saying 'Good Morning' to my dog for a week, and this is how it went," the text on the screen reads.

On Sunday, the Golden Retriever gives a very loud "Awooo." Monday, she barely lifts her head off the pillow and gives more of a grumble awoo. Tuesday she's in the kitchen with her tail wagging, and then for the rest of the week she gives her enthusiastic "Awooo" in response to her mom's good mornings.

In the comment section, people had a lot of giggles and sweet things to say about this kind dog and her adorable hellos.

One wrote, "And the happy tail is wagging all the time!"

Another added, "I think it’s funny how Sunday is definitely not a “Monday “ dog! How does she even know?"

One shared, "Soo cute!!! Pure bliss while watching this video."

Someone else joked, "Oh if that is not the perfect reaction to a Monday."

A TikTok user shared, "Your dog is my new « not a Monday morning » soulmate."

Do Golden Retrievers Make a Lot of Noise?

If you're considering getting a dog, one thing to remember when selecting a breed or dog is to understand how noisy they are. If you don't want a dog that howls or barks at everything, some breeds are more prone to both than others, even with training.

But do Golden Retrievers make a lot of noise? According to SnowyPinesWhiteLabs , these pups aren't necessarily known for being really noisy.

"Golden Retrievers are also friendly dogs and are not known to behave aggressively. It’s likely this laid-back temperament plays a role in their barking frequency," they explain.

Adding, "They’ll bark to alert you that someone is at the door and to say hi, but they will rarely guard you, unlike other protective dog breeds, such as Rottweilers and German Shepherds."

The experts go on to say that Golden Retrievers do bark and make noise, but it's not excessive or out of control.

"They will let out several usual dog sounds, including howling, growling, chortling, whimpering, yelping, and fear or alarm dog barks. And that’s it — there’s usually no incessant barking," SnowyPinesWhiteLabs adds.
