"Making sure my senior dog doesn't miss out on his favorite night," the text on the screen reads as we see a sweet dog wearing a harness and heading to somewhere fun.

Turns out, his favorite place is the ballpark, watching people play baseball. The sweet dog is carried down the steps to his designated seats where he settles in to watch baseball.

He's treated to chin scratches, a hot dog, and of course, the cool atmosphere of the baseball game. It looks like he had the best time, and really took in the whole experience.

How to Care for a Senior Dog

According to the RSPCA , senior dogs have unique circumstances requiring extra love, attention, and care. Parents of senior dogs should focus on keeping them comfortable, feeding them based on their needs, and responding to them in other ways.

"Older dogs may need more rest. Somewhere quiet where they won't be disturbed in soft, cozy dog beds away from draughts," the experts note.

Continuing, "They may need to go to the toilet more frequently. Discuss incontinence or any other changes in how often they go to the toilet with your vet."

The RSPCA also highlights that senior dogs still require daily exercise to stay healthy, but their needs are changing. The experts say that it's important to still prioritize walks, but do shorter walks more often. They suggest that a senior dog might be more comfortable if it wears a coat outside, and toys and puzzle feeders are great for exercising its mind.

"If you have any concerns about your older dog, always check with a vet," the RSPCA shares. "Changes in behavior may be signs of underlying issues, not just down to old age - so make sure to take them for a regular health check."
