Instead, she gave him the time to relax and plenty of tasty treats to help build trust. It didn’t take him long to realize that she only had good intentions, and he soon started exploring his new home. Even though he had been terrified of men , he’s even showing affection for his foster dad. Dogs have a way of sensing kind souls.

While he now shows many signs of happiness, such as wagging his tail when he sees her, bathing him requires a different level of trust. Unfortunately, he needed it, so she took the chance to get him cleaned up. She was sure to bring lots of lunchmeat to the tub, and this trick worked like a charm. Although he may not have enjoyed the bath, it was worth the many bites of meat, and he made it through without showing signs of aggression or terror. Afterward, he happily rolled around in the backyard to dry off. What a good boy!
