Not all animals end up having strong bonds with their biological parents as they get older — after all, to survive in the wild, many of them must break away from their birth families and be able to take care of themselves. But early in life, their parents are everything to them. Usually, it's mama we see who means the most to a baby animal; they're the ones who are providing them with milk and protecting them from predators. But sometimes, a bond can be formed with their dad, too, and it can be really sweet to see.

Like how this baby mini cow (yes, there is something cuter than a baby cow — one who is even smaller but also a baby, obviously) looks for her dad every single morning to say hello. She loves him so much!

On Tuesday, August 13, @grasspuppiesfarm shared this adorable video of their mini Highland cow whose name is CarrotCake (can we talk about how cute that is, too?!) running around the farm so she could tell her dad good morning.

Once she found him, he was on the other side of the fence with the other adult cows, but that absolutely did not stop her from visiting with him anyway. I would love to know what that morning conversation is really like, but one commenter took a stab at it that I bet is pretty accurate.

"Dad is def responding with 'well look who’s finally up! Some of us have been awake and productive for hours already ya know,'" one person wrote. Yep, that sounds like every dad I've ever met, so why not this one too?

The rest of the video shows CarrotCake's morning, from standing in the sunshine to chowing down on some hay to sweetly receiving some pets from the human filming the video. She's living the life — and I can't get over how cute that little face is. I wonder if my neighborhood is zoned for mini cows?

    More About Grass Puppies Farm

CarrotCake lives at a farm called Grass Puppies that's located in Alabama and breeds mini cows and even zonkeys (a zebra and donkey combo). If you have a farm and you want to open your home to one of these sweet animals, some of them are available to adopt — though be warned that it does come with a hefty cost!

In fact, even CarrotCake is available to adopt for the price of $12,500... but then again, can you really put a price on someone so cute?

According to the website, she was born on August 4, so she's still brand new to the world and won't be able to leave the farm for awhile. But they did share that she's "very tame already and loves her chin scratches" — that much was obvious from the video!

Whoever ends up giving CarrotCake a forever home is very lucky. She's too sweet.
