Some cats have the strangest fascinations. String, random trash, and empty boxes can make any feline's day. Bo the orange cat happens to love garbage trucks more than anything, and he loves to let Mom know when he spots one.

The August 14, 2024 TikTok video posted by @angrafus3 , Bo politely announces when the garbage truck arrives and his mom is so grateful. Watch how excited he gets!

"POV, my cat is obsessed with the garbage truck and lets me know every time it shows up," the video says. And that's exactly what the little guy did. He strolled right into Mom's room, spoke only a word, then led her to his window perch where the truck sat outside. He knew exactly what he was doing and the internet is here for it.

"Just a boy who loves trucks," the caption says, and the comment section is having a field day with this kitty's special interest.

"What a good guard cat! Good job, Bo! The house is secure from that evil garbage truck," one person wrote.

"The cat's probably like, 'why are you not more alarmed, they’re taking our stuff AGAIN,'" another added.

"He wants you to experience the garbage truck together," another said.

Bo deserves to see as many trucks as possible in all of his nine lives!

How To Know What Your Cat Is Saying

In this instance, Bo vocalizes where he wants his mom to go look. And while some cats "talk" more than others, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) says understanding feline language is a matter of paying attention. Things like meowing, purring, and hissing all have meaning, depending on the situation.

A meow could be a greeting or, like Bo, an announcement. It's sort of the catchall sound they make with many meanings. If you have a cat who chirps, it might mean they want you to follow them while chirping at another cat is how they talk to each other. You might also notice they do this while window watching because it's exciting to them!

Purring is, of course, when they're happy, and they might even do it when they're sick to make themselves feel better. Hissing or growling cats are trying to tell you to back off, while a yell means they're in trouble and need help.

It all really depends on your cat, how socialized he or she was as a kitten, and each specific scenario. As for Bo, his meow is pretty clear. He loves garbage trucks and did his best vocalization to alert mom about it!
