Pup Catches Dog Walker with Another 'Client' and Her Sad Whines Say It All

When we have someone we really like in our lives, it's natural to want to hog them. That person could be anyone - your friend, your favorite family member, or, apparently, your dog walker.

Recently, one dog saw her very own dog walker out on a walk with another dog, and she definitely had some words about it. The poor pup was all torn up, and everybody couldn't help but giggle:

I sure hope Kekepania Payne took this pup on an extra long walk after this! For a dog, this is like, the ultimate betrayal!

Not only is Kekepania a dog walker, she has tons of dogs herself. They're most likely used to their mom coming home smelling like other dogs, but something she never expected was that she'd have to deal with seeing other "client" dogs on her walks - she goes one dog at a time for a reason!

Dogs are naturally very jealous creatures, so it's no surprise that this pup was so upset to see her favorite dog walker walking another dog. Unfortunately, even though she would love it, Kekepania wasn't able to drop what she was doing and take her for a walk instead. Her clients pay good money to have their dogs walked - she'll be back for that sweet girl soon enough. Hopefully with treats as reparations!

How to Choose a Good Dog Walker

Choosing a dog walker is a scary thing to do: you're trusting a person to take your dog away and bring them back. It's definitely not something you should be trusting just anyone to do.

There are dozens of dog-walking services and apps available to match you with dog walkers. The good ones always vet the dog walkers first, and they take quizzes to match them with specific clients based on what they're comfortable with, their desired wages, etc.,. Even with all of that, though, you should keep your eye out for specifics:

1. Choose a person your dog is comfortable with (for example, some dogs tend to be wary of certain genders ).
2. If you can, select someone who lives near you.
3. Pick someone who matches your dog's energy: do they just want to walk? Will they take them for runs?)
4. Interview everybody in person, with your dog, before you choose.
5. Word of mouth business is great! See if neighbors can vouch for someone.

In Kekepania's case, she managed to land two clients on the same street. It's convenient... until they run into each other, at least!
