Big dogs don't necessarily run the house. At least, not when Earl the Dachshund is around. This tiny but mighty pup isn't afraid to rough house with his older sibling, a Chocolate Labrador, but she's so sweet with him anyway.

In an August 7 TikTok video shared by @naynayblevins , Earl and his sister play by pretend fighting and the Lab is so gentle with Earl. Take a look!

In the brief 14-second clip captioned, "Learning to live together as step-siblings," Earl goes after his big sister for a bit of fun and play. The "boxing match" isn't exactly a nail-biting scene, but it does show how delicate the Lab is with her small bro, and it's heartwarming to witness. Maybe she loves it, or maybe she's over it, but either way, she's not letting it dictate how she treats Earl, and that's a beautiful thing.

This feisty little man already has a ton of new followers who are keeping track of his shenanigans. Between his 3-pound size and his bigger-than-life personality, he rules the house and makes it clear!

This isn't the first time Earl's acted bigger than his body. The tiny Ween previously made waves when a different video showing Earl telling the big dogs off went viral. He's been 100% attitude from the very beginning and we love him for it. And he couldn't have been himself without the patience of his older step-siblings, so they deserve all the credit here.

    Small Dachshunds Have Big Personalities

If you've seen one tiny Earl acting big, you've seen them all! Miniature Dachshunds don't care about their size because, on the inside, they're giants. My Family Vets notes that due to their genetic origins of tunneling for rabbits and digging holes for foxes, Miniature Dachshunds have a loud bark . And like Earl, their bark matches their big energy!

This breed is generally great for families because they're so darn entertaining. Known for being curious with a sense of humor, some might even say they're mischievous! They obviously don't notice how small they are. And because they love their people so much, they make for loyal companions who will always have you on your toes!

When it comes down to it, it's always a good time with a mini Ween around, especially if you have other bigger dogs who let that Ween think he or she is boss. Because really, they are (just ask Earl)!
