Joyful Doberman Is Torn Between Water Play and Tennis Ball Fun and It's Too Cute

Like human children, dogs have a fear of missing out. This can happen even when enjoying one of their favorite activities or eating a meal. No matter what they may be doing, they often want whatever their someone else has more.

That was the case for this darling Doberman on a warm summer day. She had found the perfect place to cool down but couldn’t relax until she had her toy. Her determination was palpable, a trait we can all relate to.

See how she seized the best of both worlds in this video shared on July 22:

The smart dog knows exactly where to go to beat the heat. Unfortunately, beautiful Boujee didn’t think her water time through before entering the pond. Just as she was about to relax, she realized her brother was playing with a tennis ball. Oh no! Unable to watch him have a good time, she grabbed her toy and returned to the pond. That’s a sensible solution. Realizing he might as well make the best of it, Boss (@ bossthedoberman ) followed her back to take a sip of the water since he no longer had the ball to play with. Sisters can be tough on their brothers.

Do Dogs Get FOMO Like People?

According to Fenzi Dog Sports Academy, dogs can develop FOMO and become uneasy when they are not part of something exciting happening around them. This can sometimes lead to destructive or anxious behaviors . Fortunately, there are ways to address these types of reactions. Games and training exercises, along with a positive approach and patience, can help them overcome their frustrations.

This sibling dynamic amused people. One person remarked, “Dobies are such goofballs!” They are! Another person responded, “That’s so cute. You need one double the size so they can fit together.” Although a bigger pond might fit them both, that doesn’t mean they would share. Viewer @iamthegiant inquired, “Lol, do they like taking baths? My old dog loved to play in the water, but when it was time for a bath, she would try her best to get out of it, lol.” Boujee and Boss’s parent revealed, “It’s exactly the same with these two, lol. They love playing in the water, then act tortured when it’s bath time!” Ha! That seems to be the case for most pups.

While these happy Dobermans might have a bit of sibling rivalry, fortunately, they get along well. Boss seems to understand his sister is in charge, and he’s a bright boy for letting her have what she wants. He knows life is more peaceful this way!
