A Goldendoodle is determined to figure out how to get to the squirrels outside and doing "math" while never losing eye contact is giving everyone giggles.

On August 15, 2024, TikTok user Brodie the Goldendoodle (@brodiethatdood) shared a video of what was going through Brodie's head while watching squirrels. Take a look!

In a hilarious, quick video , we meet up with the Goldendoodle named Brodie , who seems to be fixated on something going on outside.

Brodie is standing at the window with his two front paws on the windowsill and his tail wagging. He's looking back and forth outside, and his adorable big ears are swinging with every head turn. He's trying hard to calculate exactly how many squirrels are outside.

"If there are two squirrels per tree, there might be more, and there are 50,000 trees, which equals 100,000 squirrels," the voiceover says while the text of math equations swirls all around his head.

He does some strange math and determines that there are about 20 trees that he's peed on, so he can't count those. He also comes to the conclusion that there are 99,980 squirrels outside, and he gets really excited about that.

"The complex thoughts that go on in Brodie’s head," the video's caption reads. And in the comments, people had a lot to share about Brodie's math skills and his interest in all those squirrels.

One wrote, "Love Brodie! He speaks for all our fur babies."

Another added, "Brodie, I have a headache now."

Someone else shared, "He's probably is really thinking that...lol."

    One wrote, "Too cute."

Someone else added, "Quite the Mathematician Dude!"

Another shared, "I always wondered what dogs think about as they look out the windows!"

One joked, "My brain just exploded, help me Brodie.. Hahahahha."

Goldendoodles Are Known for Their Sweet Temperament

According to Hill's Pet Nutrition , Goldendoodles are great family dogs who typically get along with everyone.

"More often than not, they're intelligent, obedient, and extremely loving dogs. Goldendoodles love people and also get along great with other pets, and they tend to be patient and gentle with young children — making them a fantastic choice for families," the site explains.

With that friendly nature, though, Goldendoodles aren't the best watchdogs or guard dogs because they pretty much love everyone. These dogs are also really smart which means they need a lot of mental stimulation, which is what Brodie is doing with the squirrels.

"With their high intelligence, they can get bored easily and need activities to keep them out of trouble, but they can also be content curling up on the couch for cuddles," Hill's Pet Nutrition shares.
