Some dogs know how to bring out the drama. They can pull off a performance that would earn an award without ever taking an acting class. While any dog can be theatrical, Pitties have a way of laying it on thick.
One sweet Staffordshire Terrier is an ideal example of this well-known trait. She’s appalled that Mom decided to drink her coffee instead of providing her with breakfast, and she’s not holding back her displeasure.

My goodness, Ella (@ ella.the.staffy_ )! This is quite a way to start the day. These sorrowful sobs might make you think she hasn’t been fed for a week, but pet parents know better. It’s only a performance in which they excel at. While these pitiful cries certainly pull out our heartstrings, they are nothing more than our spoiled children demanding they get what they want when they want it. I know mine have mastered this art, and I’m nearly powerless against it. Although this may have gone on for some time, Mom likely folded and gave her what she wanted. It’s easier and more peaceful, especially when the caffeine hasn’t even kicked in.

Are Pit Bulls Typically Talkative?
Compared to breeds like Huskies or Shepherds, Pit Bulls are not generally considered talkative. But while they may not be known for barking, they are well known for being expressive, which includes whining, grumbling, tail wagging, and priceless facial expressions. Sometimes, it’s a combination of all these methods. My black dog rescue mix has a variety of breeds inside of him, including both Staffy and Pit Bull, and I’m not sure which one makes him very vocal, but he likes to sing his songs of woe. Much like sweet Ella, they are natural-born comedians.
People promptly took Ella’s side. Viewer @amy.rebecca.louise joked, “Omg, how could you? Look at that face. The puppy eyes sat so politely in the chair. Coffee before breakfast? What is happening in this world? Baby has a schedule to stick to!” LOL! If she could use her words, that seems to be what she would say. One person remarked, “Every morning in this house, too. They are so dramatic! Don’t you know she could starve?” That is what our well-fed kids want us to believe. Viewer @nova.theblackstaffy responded, “Oh my gosh, poor baby! Put that coffee down!” Yep, it’s a tough life.
Hopefully, Mom has learned the error of her ways, and Ella won’t have to wait for breakfast again. But if she does, there’s no doubt she’ll have something to say about it.
