Two Miniature Dachshunds go for a walk with their parent each day and they always make sure to greet the neighbor's cows as they walk by, and it's adorable.

On August 5, 2024, TikTok user Scooby & Butter Mini Dachshunds (@scooby_the_minida) shared a video of two Miniature Dachshunds who love their daily walk. Take a look!

In a quick video clip, we meet Scooby and Butter , two adorable Miniature Dachshunds who have a unique routine for their daily walk.

"Every morning, we take our Dachshunds on a walk past our neighbor's cows," the text on the screen reads. And in the clip, there's a black dog and a butter-colored dog, walking with leads, and each step has that happy pep.

The camera pans and we can see the small dogs are happy because they're walking past a field of cows. "Our Dachshunds love to say hello," the video explains.

The two dogs took the time to say hello to the cows a few more times and even got the attention of some of them before they decided it was enough.

After looking at the cows and barking, the two dogs "then take off, leaving the cows confused," the video explained. And that's what Butter and Scooby did, they ran at full speed, and it really looks like the best way to start the day.

"Barking bravery followed by a quick getaway!" the video's caption read. "Mini dachshunds vs. cows." In the comments, people fell in love with the two happy dogs as well.

One wrote, "This video and the music is genius. Thank you."

Another shared, "You tell em Scooby and Butter!"

Someone added, "My mini dachshund thinks the cows are big dogs!!! It's beautiful there!!! And you babies are precious."

    One shared, "So adorable."

Another wrote, "We call those really big dogs to our Doxie."

How Much Exercise Does a Miniature Dachshund Need?

According to the American Kennel Club , although Miniature Dachshunds are small, they still need lots of exercise.

Dachshunds "need regular exercise not only to stay fit but also to build strong muscles to support and protect their backs."

The club explains that these dogs should have two walks every day of "moderate length." Dog parents must be mindful of potential injuries.

The American Kennel Club explains, "Never allow your Dachshund to run up and down stairs or jump on or off furniture. Because they are very social, Dachshunds don't do well as outdoor dogs; they want to be with their humans."

PitPat explains that adult Miniature Dachshunds should get around 50 minutes of exercise each day, split into those two walks.

But walking isn't the only way to get exercise. Playing fetch, hide-and-seek, or taking an agility course are great ways to play and exercise.
