Drew Barrymore and Ring teamed up last spring to raise funds for animal shelters with the Ring Pet Portraits Campaign contest. Together, they called on pet parents to join in raising half a million dollars to support animal shelters across the U.S. simply by submitting photos or videos of their pets to social media!

The contest ran through June and now a winner has been announced. Just check out the adorable winning video.

The winner of the Ring Pet Portraits Campaign contest is a  4-year-old German Shepherd, named Allie Beth. Her full name is technically Alligator Beth Martin! This video perfectly captures the joy of her beach day. After a sandy romp, her owner Madison needed to rinse her off. Although Allie Beth wasn’t thrilled about the hose, she couldn’t get enough of the towel-drying session and showed off her signature zoomies!

ParadePets spoke with Allie's owner Madison about what she loves about her dog so much.

"What I love most about Allie Beth is her intelligence and her unique personality. One of her most endearing traits is her cleverness—she’s practically a genius in dog terms! Allie picks up new tricks in a flash and even walks herself to her friends' houses in the neighborhood, always remembering to sit when cars pass by. Her sense of humor is another thing that makes her so special. Allie has perfected the art of passive-aggressive exhaling when she doesn’t get her way. If she’s not happy with a decision, she might uproot a houseplant or strategically drop a prized shell on the concrete if she feels slighted. Despite her high-maintenance demands for constant play, she’s incredibly independent—she eats on her own schedule, and nudges us with her nose when she needs a refill. Her playful interactions with her best friend Beau, including greeting him by playfully putting his entire head in her mouth, show just how affectionate and fun-loving she is. Allie Beth is truly the “goodest good good girl” there ever was and our whole neighborhood loves her so much!"

As part of this initiative, Ring donated $500,000 to the ASPCA and local shelters. We invited pet lovers to share their adorable pet content using #RingPets for a chance to be featured in a Ring commercial, with Drew and the ASPCA helping choose the grand prize winner.

What an absolute wonderful contest that raised so much money to help shelter pets in need.

Keep an eye out for Allie Beth’s debut in an upcoming Ring commercial later this year.
