Golden Retrievers belong in the spotlight, both figuratively and literally. They have incredible personalities, and when actual light hits their fur, it's just about the most stunning thing you'll never see. That's probably why they've been one of the most popular dog breeds since their beginning!

One couple figured out the best way to include their own gorgeous Golden Retriever in their big day on Tuesday, August 20th, and it was incredible. Their pup was exactly what they needed to make the whole day just sparkle, and she loved every second of it:

Wait until you see her carry the flower basket down the aisle đŸ„č😭 This is just a sneak peek of the wedding content! I have SO much to share!! Endless thanks to the amazing team at @Wags & Garland for taking such good care of Ayce & Aria on our wedding day. ❀ Bouquets and Aria’s floral collar are from @Poppy Flowers . . . . . #wedding #weddingflowers #flowergirl #dogwedding #weddingdog #flowerdog #wagsandgarland

Ayce and Aria were both at the wedding, but Aria may have stolen the show from her brother a little bit. What can she say? Girls rule!

Ayce is an Australian Shepherd, while Aria is a Golden Retriever - and I've seen a lot of dogs in my day, but this duo might be one of the prettiest ones. Because they knew they hit the lottery with them, of course their parents wanted to include them in their big day. They were given two of the most important tasks: Aria was the flower girl, and Ayce was the ring bearer.

It all went off without a hitch, and what we can see of the wedding on TikTok is just breathtaking. For all of the couples including their dogs in their weddings lately, Ayce and Aria may be the best ones - are they available for other weddings? I will get married right now if it means they'll come!

How to Include Your Dog in Your Wedding

People have always included their dogs in their weddings, but in the last few years, it's really taken off. Dogs have infiltrated every part of the process, from the engagement to the planning and the day itself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that: it's your day. If you want your dogs there, have them there.

Most people work their dogs into the wedding by having them be flower pups or ring bearers. Others will let their dogs walk them down the aisle, and some couples even include their dogs in their first dance. Those aren't the only ways to do it, though! If you want to spice it up, you could try:

    1. Making your dog a bridesmaid/groomsman.
    2. Strapping a camera to your dog for candid photography.
    3. Letting them guide everyone into the venue like a sweet little usher.
    4. If your officiant is comfortable, training them to "bark" during specific parts of the ceremony so they're helping.
    5. Some states even let our furry friends serve as "witnesses!"

That's not it, though: not all dogs can make it (or should) to the big day itself. There's no shame in that, either! You can name cocktails/mocktails after them, serve some of their favorite treats, and even find ways to incorporate pieces of their "wardrobe" into your ensemble, like wearing their collar as a bracelet!
