A magical moment was caught on video when a Grandpa called the horses he raised, and they came galloping with a happy pep in their step.

On August 17, 2024, TikTok user Quincy (@quincy.hw) shared a video that shows the beautiful bond between humans and horses. Take a look!

In a quick video shared on TikTok, we see a sweet and moving video between a man and his horses.

"POV: when your grandfather calls his own bred horses," the text on the video reads.

Grandpa is standing in the field in a very casual, hands-behind-his-back way. The horses are quite far away down the field, but they know exactly what to do the second Grandpa makes a familiar sound.

When Grandpa gives the horses his signature call, they immediately hear him and all the majestic Dutch Warmblood horses start to run toward Grandpa in their playful, happy gallops. The sound he makes is "kom," which is Dutch for "come."

Grandpa keeps calling the crew of 4-year-old horses until they reach him, which doesn't take too long. It's really sweet to see how they knew right away what that sound was and what they were supposed to do.

"They love him so much," the video's caption reads. And in the comments, people really loved this sweet video, too.

One wrote, "This is what my grandmother does but she yells 'girls.'"

Another shared, "The way the gallop to him when he calls them hes doing something right."

Another added, "One even stopped mid snack to come, so cute."

Someone else wrote, "I might actually start crying [because] uhhh I want a horse so bad and literally my dream."

Another shared, "Beautiful watching them all run in!"

One added, "He breeds some fancy horses!"

    Facts About Dutch Warmblood Horses

According to WebMD , Dutch Warmblood horses are best known for competing in the Olympic games and international show jumping competitions. They are one of the "best sport horses in the world" and excel as "harness and light draft horses."

This breed is known for its "attractive and elegant appearance," long, arching neck, and powerful topline, which make it particularly good at athletics.

Mad Barn says Warmblood horses are "renowned for their calm, even-tempered, and cooperative nature, making them suitable for a variety of equestrian disciplines."

Given their popularity in sports, Dutch Warmblood horses also "have to be intelligent, honest, and reactive," adding that "some Dutch Warmbloods are more sensitive and reactive."

WebMD notes that this breed also comes in various colors: gray, chestnut, black, and bay. They also might have white markings on their legs and face. The average Dutch Warmblood stands 16.2 hands tall but can get to 17 hands, weighing between 1,210 and 1,320 pounds.
