Great Pyrenees Gives Mom Epic Side-Eye After She Refuses Another Beef Stick

Dogs will be dogs, no matter what they were bred for. They're dramatic, they love to beg, and they love to try and guilt us into giving them whatever they want. To their credit, though, it typically works.

Unfortunately for one Great Pyrenees, though, his mom figured out his game. After a trip to his favorite gas station yielded him no results, he did the only thing he could think to do: side eye mom and hope that, eventually, she felt bad. The side eye action is honestly impressive:

Ritchie the Pyr may be devastated, and he may not feel like it yet, but the truth is that he will live. Not having an extra beef stick is not the end of the world. Or maybe it is!

Ritchie is the very definition of a dramatic king. This was not his first beef stick meltdown; it wasn't even the first beef stick meltdown outside of this gas station, which is hilarious. The owners must know he's coming by now. Does he side eye them, too?

When he's not melting down over his favorite protein-packed treats , Ritchie is a good boy. He loves to play, and he's always looking to meet his fans (that's what he calls everyone who meets him). He swindles strangers with dogs for treats and has even been a foster brother once or twice: they also have a Husky at the moment. The hair in that house must be out of this world!

Are Beef Sticks Good For Dogs?

Ritchie may not care about the answer, but people definitely do. If beef sticks were the best thing a dog could eat, his mom would have no problem giving him a second one. She's not fighting the stink eye outside the gas station because she likes it!

Beef sticks/jerky are fine for dogs, and dog-specific beef sticks are actually very common treats. If you want to feed your dog a beef stick, just make sure it's unflavored (since flavored ones often contain toxic ingredients) and check the ingredients. High-quality beef sticks can be pricey, but they're worth it if you're giving them to your pup!

Even the highest-quality beef stick in the world should be fed in moderation; they're still processed to some degree, and they're typically pretty salty. Because of Ritchie's size, one beef stick is fine for him, but two would be pushing it. He should be thankful his mom is watching out for him, not side-eyeing her!
