I imagine that it's hard enough to start out life as a homeless dog, hoping that you'll find your forever family soon, but it has to be so much harder as a dog who has special needs. There's a good chance that those needs cut out a good amount of prospective adoptive parents; not everyone has the time or resources to provide the extra care that many of these pups need, especially while they're still puppies. But the wider net that rescues are able to catch, the more likely they are to find the perfect dog parents for the four legged friend in need.

And now that the sweetie in this TikTok video from a rescue has gotten more than 40,000 views so far, there was no doubt in my mind that his humans are out there and would find him. How could they not fall in love — have you seen this face?

Meet Wybie! 2-month-old Wybie was born without one of his front legs. He is also vision impaired, and possibly hearing impaired as well. Despite these challenges, Wybie finds all the fun in life, and is determined to bring a whole lot of fun into your life! Although training looks different with a vision impaired or hearing impaired pup, they love just the same ❤️ Ready to make Wybie part of your family? Come meet him at our Adoption Center or find his profile at pawschicago.org/adopt

Rescue organization PAWS Chicago recently introduced us to this sweet boy, a 2 month old Siberian Husky puppy named Wybie (please tell me that's a Coraline reference!). He is very cute, but he does have a few challenges that other puppies (and their humans) have to face. At first glance, it's obvious that he only has three legs, but the rescue explained that he is also vision impaired and may be hearing impaired, too.

But from what we can see in the video, he hasn't let those difficulties stop him. He's running all around, playful as any puppy would be, and he seems to be bursting with happiness.

"Wybie approaches life with a lot of love and curiosity," the rescue wrote in the video.

More About Wybie & PAWS Chicago

Good news: According to the PAWS Chicago profile for Wybie , he's been adopted — and it happened just two days after this video was posted to TikTok, which is seriously impressive.

If you happen to be in the Chicago area, though, there are still so many dogs (and cats) available for adoption, and you can see everyone who's still waiting for their humans here .

If you find someone you want to meet, you can fill out the compatibility quiz on the organization's website and an adoption application, and then you'll be able to set up an appointment to come meet the pets in person to see if it's a good fit.

Whoever ended up adopting Wybie is going to be a very lucky human. There's no doubt that he's already bringing someone so much joy with all of his infectious happiness!
