Dogs somehow know exactly when it's time for their favorite foods and activities and they'll do whatever's necessary to remind us. Olive the Bernese Mountain Dog really loves her "walkies" with Mom, but on this day, Mom's running behind and Olive's not having it.

The recent TikTok video shared by @olivethebmd shows the happy girl politely reminding Mom it's past time for "walkies" and she's not going to wait another second! Olive means business!

"POV: It's 5:01 p.m. and your mom is late for walkies," the video says. In the short 10-second clip, The Bernese strolls into Mom's room, plants herself directly in front of her, then proceeds to give a loud warning bark as if to say, "WE'RE LATE!" She then trots up to the bed and roots her head around to try to pull her up and out.

Walkies are serious business and Olive needs everyone to know it! Nothing can stand in her way of going on a walk. Of the pup's more than 77,400 followers, many agree that she's just too hilarious and a little dramatic, but we're all here for it.

"She said no such thing as inside bark when you're late," one person wrote. "Hot girl walks are a must - Olive," another said. "We all have the same Berner," another person joked.

We don't know how this story ended, but hopefully, Olive got her walkies (and maybe a treat or two)!

How Much Exercise Do Bernese Mountain Dogs Need?

Like Olive, Bernese Mountain Dogs have a lot of expendable energy. Because they were originally bred as working dogs who pulled heavy carts and dutifully watched over livestock, their bodies are always primed and ready for a little sweat sesh—but there's a catch. They don't have the stamina to go for long periods of time and require frequent breaks to cool off and relax. That's what makes them the perfect companions.

According to Dogster , adult Bernese Mountain Dogs need enough exercise to equal about an hour a day and can be split up into multiple sessions. It can vary depending on your pup's age. For instance, puppies don't require as much exercise as you might think because they're bones, muscles, and joints are still growing so whatever you do, do it with caution. Ironically, treat senior Bernese babes the same way, so go easy and don't let them overdo it.

Olive is a girl who knows what she wants and honestly, more power to her. Walkies for life!
