It is not uncommon for wild animals like foxes to wander into our backyards. Many people report seeing them play with children’s or dog’s toys or even resting on comfy couches. As humans, they can be a treat to watch if we’re lucky enough to see them.

However, sometimes, our animals know they have been there because of the scent they leave behind. While this doesn’t always make them happy, it can sometimes cause them to feel like kids again.

Take a look at this video from August 19 to see how two baby foxes inspired a German Shepherd to embrace his childlike spirit.

I thought the foxes were the cutest part of this video until I saw Buck happily dancing around after realizing these little pups had been playing there. His mom (@ fortheloveofsmiley ) shared that his playful behavior isn’t something she has seen in a while, and it was especially notable because he usually feels stressed when he senses outside animals. However, these joyful babies must have left their youthful joy behind because he was as excited to play as they were. How cute is that? Just like they inspired this handsome German Shepherd , they are a beautiful reminder to spend a little time having fun.

    Kit Fox Behaviors

The Kit Fox is native to North America and can be found in the southwestern United States and parts of northern Mexico. As the smallest foxes, they weigh between 3 and 6 pounds and grow to a length of 15-20 inches. According to the National Park Service, Kit Foxes are omnivores and eat rodents, insects, and sometimes berries. They are well adapted to living in dry conditions, requiring minimal water intake and getting most of their hydration from their food. While they can occasionally be seen during the day, they are primarily nocturnal, avoiding the intense daytime heat.

These happy and playful pups made everyone’s day brighter! One person shared, “Oh my goodness! It is so beautiful to see the foxes playing on the beach. It’s been a few years since I’ve seen them playing on my property. Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful site. I enjoyed seeing Buck playing like a pup.” It was a treat to see them all. Another person responded, “This is too cute. The foxes looked like they were having so much fun, and Buck was too.” It was hard to identify who was having a better time.

Summer is the perfect season to spend a few days acting like a kid again. While it may be coming to a close, there are still plenty of days left to frolic on the beach without a care in the world.
