English Bulldog's 'Last Warning' to Give Her Attention Is the Biggest Mood

Some dogs are very happy-go-lucky and always willing to go with the flow. If their humans have a busy day and aren't able to dedicate enough attention to them, they're good with it — they'll find their own ways to stay entertained, knowing that their mom will make up for the missed playtime the next day. However, I have personally never cared for a dog like that. Not only is my pup a total drama queen, but she also becomes very offended if you aren't willing to drop everything and give her your full attention each and every time she requests it.

Every dog out there has their own way of requesting attention from their humans, but the cutest way might belong to the dog in the video below. How could you not give her exactly what she wants after seeing her make a face like that?!

In this video shared by @thebabypancake , we get to see what happens when this English Bulldog , whose name is, quite adorably, Pancake, is in dire need of attention: She shoots her mom a look with her little tooth out!

"Pancake's last warning to give her attention or she'll attack," Mom wrote in this video of Pancake lounging on the couch, one tooth poking out of her closed mouth. She truly does look like she means business — she is sick and tired of being ignored!

In fact, if you ask me, I am willing to bet she's asked Mom to give her attention multiple times at this point, and now she's at the end of her rope. What a sad, neglected dog (just kidding — from her other videos, it's quite easy to see that Pancake might just be one of the most adored dogs of all time).

"Obviously she should get anything she wants," one person commented on the video, and you know what? I couldn't agree more.

How Do You Know When Your Dog Needs More Attention?

When it comes to asking for attention, most dogs will have their own "tells," like Pancake and her little tooth. But if yours is harder to read or if you're a new dog parent and can't quite decode their emotions just yet, there are a few things to look out for.

As Pupford points out, there are some signs that are more subtle than others , like your dog pawing at you, barking more than usual, or changing up their body language.

Others are going to be harder to miss, and will likely remind you exactly how important it is to engage with your dog every single day, like destroying furniture or flooring and having accidents when they're already well trained to potty outside.

And when your dog asks for attention, they're not just asking for more cuddles and pets — they have other needs, too, like more exercise and playtime.

Every one of us has busy days that means our dog's walk will have to be later than usual, but try to keep their routines as consistent as possible in order to keep them happy (and to make sure your house doesn't get destroyed).
